Applications are invited for the Baillie Gifford Prize Fellowship at the India Institute, King’s College London. The Fellowship provides full financial support to a student on the MRes Contemporary India programme. The Baillie Gifford Prize Fellowship supports the Institute’s goals of enhancing the quality of public knowledge and debate in, and about, contemporary India. The MRes Contemporary India is a research-track Master’s degree that imparts advanced training to support a student in producing an original piece of research under expert supervision.

How to Apply:
In order to apply for the Baillie Gifford Prize Fellowship 2016-17, please include a one page statement with your application to the MRes Contemporary India describing your academic background, and where relevant your professional experience, stating how your proposed research will contribute to your field. Applicants for the fellowship should submit their full application by the deadline of midnight on 10 December 2015. Candidates may be interviewed in person or via telephone.
