The Central Silk Board is looking for an interested candidate for the position of Junior Research Fellow for project of development of densovirus resistance productive bivoltine silkworm breeds through marker assisted selection and Identification of molecular markers associated with filament characters and its use in improvement of multivoltine breeds through marker assisted selection.

Position Requirements:

  • M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics/ Molecular Genetics with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
  • B.Sc Degree or Honors in Biological sciences/Zoology/Life Sciences with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)
