The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development is looking for deserved and suitable candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow under the project entitled “Orchid bioresources of the North-East India – Conservation, database development and information networking” at the Regional Centre of IBSD, Sikkim for a period of 3 (three) years funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India.
- M.Sc. in Life Science with good academic record. Working experience on plant tissue culture and conservation of bioresources & its management OR Masters in any branch of Sciences with good academic record and Certificate/Diploma in computer applications.
- NET/GATE qualified. Work experience in plant tissue culture, in-situ conservation of plants, Field exploration and taxonomic identification of plants will be preferred. OR NET/GATE qualified. Working experience on development of Database.
