The Autolus Ltd is seeking bright, enthusiastic Research Associate to join their Process Development team which is committed to designing and characterising processes capable of producing high quality products for use in Autolus clinical trial programmes.

Position Requirements:

  • Familiarity with a range of biopharmaceutical and cell-based techniques
  • Good understanding of cell biology and immunology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible, self-motivated and focus on team outcomes
  • MSc/BSc educated (2:1 minimum) or equivalent in Biology/Biochemistry or related
  • Experience of working in a busy laboratory environment is desirable, although full training will be provided

Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes suitable for the manufacture of autologous cell-based products
  • Characterise processing steps for yield, cell integrity and clearance of impurities
  • Author development reports and regulatory documentation
  • Develop suitable formulations and supporting stability programs
  • Assist in technology transfer to Manufacturing group
  • Work with external service providers
