The Autolus Ltd is looking for bright, enthusiastic Research Associate to join a manufacturing team committed to delivering high quality products for use in Autolus clinical trial programmes. Whilst these roles will be based in the Autolus laboratories in West London, there will also be opportunities to work within established academic centres in the London area.

Position Requirements:

  • MSc/BSc educated or equivalent in Biology/Biochemistry or related
  • Familiarity with a range of biopharmaceutical and cell-based techniques
  • Familiarity with cGMP guidelines and experience of working in cGMP environments is desirable, although training will be provided
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Commitment to high quality work
  • Ability to identify and implement solutions
  • Experience of working in a busy laboratory environment is desirable, although full training will be given

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the manufacture of viral vectors and cell-based products
  • Assist in the maintenance of a laboratory environment suitable for the manufacture of sterile biopharmaceutical products
  • Create and maintain compliant process documentation
  • Perform duties according to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
  • Work with external service providers
  • Any other duties as required following consultation with the post holder
