Research Scientist : Analytical Development – Autolus

The Autolus Ltd is looking for bright, enthusiastic Research Scientist to join a Process Development team committed to designing and characterising processes capable of producing high quality products for use in Autolus clinical trial programmes.

Position Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in Biology/Biochemistry or related
  • Familiarity with a number of analytical techniques (e.g. qPCR, ELISA, FACS, viral titre and p30, residual impurities, T-cell proliferation, exhaustion, cytokine release and killing assays)
  • Experience in assay development
  • Good understanding of cell biology and immunology
  • Experience in biopharmaceutical product characterisation/release desirable
  • Directly relevant biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience desirable
  • Understanding of and familiarity with regulatory guidance governing cell-based and biopharmaceutical development desirable
  • Flexible, self-motivated and focused on team outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
