The Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) is looking for an interested candidate for the position of Senior Research Fellow to work in the “All India Net work Project on Fish Health” funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. The engagement of SRF & TA for the project will be 3 years (initially) / co-terminus with the scheme.
- Masters degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Industrial Fisheries/Fish processing Technology/Post Harvest Technology with 4/5 years Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Industrial Fisheries/Fish processing Technology/Post Harvest Technology with 3 years degree and should have NET qualification
- One year experience in analytical area/experience in analytical instruments.
- 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of interview

The Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) set up in 1954 is the only national center in the country where research in all disciplines relating to fishing and fish processing is undertaken. The institute started functioning at Cochin in 1957. Research centers function at Veraval (Gujarat), Visakhapatnam (AP), Burla (Orissa), Mumbai (Maharashtra).
