The Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) is looking for an interested candidate for the position of Senior Research Fellow purely on contractual basis under the Project on “ICAR-ORP on fungal foliar disease”.
- M.Sc (Ag) with Plant Pathology/M.Sc Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences is a must for the position of Senior Research Fellow
- Experience in plantation crops preferably in plant pathology/biotechnology
- 18-30 years for men and 18-35 years for women as on the date of interview. (Upper age limit relaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidates) as per rules.

The candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria may attend the walk-in-interview at CPCR1, Kasaragod on the date mentioned above. The candidates should be present in the venue of the Interview at 8.30 A.M on the date of Interview. Late comers shall not be allowed to take the interview. They should bring with them, their bio -data and original certificates in proof of age, caste, educational qualifications, experience etc. Those who do not furnish the Original or Provisional Certificate of the Degree course will not be allowed to appear for the written test/interview.

Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) was established in 1970 as one of the agricultural research institutes in the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The Institute had the mandate to undertake research on coconut, arecanut, cocoa, cashew, oil palm and spices at the time of establishment.
