The Jawaharlal Nehru University is looking for an interested candidate for the position of Senior Research Fellow in a DST-sponsored project “Cross-talk between GPI biosynthesis and Ras signaling in S. cerevisiae”.
- Candidate should be M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with a good academic record and at least two years of experimental research experience in yeast/ fungal biology and/ or mammalian cell culture.
- The candidate should have hands-on experience in molecular biological methods in the study of yeast/ fungal systems and/ or mammalian systems. Candidates with experience in techniques such as cloning, extraction of RNA and DNA, ChIP analysis, promoter analysis via primer walking or reporter assays would be preferred.
