The National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology is looking for an interested candidate for the position of Senior Research Fellow in ICAR NPTC funded project.
- M.Sc/M.Tech/M.C.A. in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Allied Sciences/Agricultural Sciences/Computer Science/ Bioinformatics with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with 4 year/5 year of Bachelor’s degree.
- Candidate having post graduate degree in basic science with 3 year Bachelor’s degree should have NET qualification
- 2 yr experience in basic molecular biology, genomics and bioinformatics and project coordination and management.

The post is purely temporary in nature and is co-terminus with the project with initial recruitment for one year/duration of the project. The interview will be held on 29/3/16 at 10 AM at NRCPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, and New Delhi-110012. The candidates must bring four copies of biodata (below given formats), original certificates, attested photocopies of each of the certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph. National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology (NRCPB) is a premiere research institution of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The institute was founded in 1985 as the ‘Biotechnology Centre’ of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) for molecular biology and biotechnology research in crop plants. The prescience of the role of biotechnology in agriculture led to a bigger responsibility for this centre and it was elevated as National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology in the year 1993.
