University of Oulu

The University of Oulu (Finnish: Oulun yliopisto) is one of the most reputed universities in Finland, located in the city of Oulu. It was founded on July 8, 1958. Their research and education community is 16 000 students and 3000 employees strong, and one of the biggest and the most multidisciplinary universities in Finland. Along with the University of Turku, it is ranked in the Academic Ranking of World Universities as the second best university in Finland and is among the top 400 universities in the world.

The ten faculties, the many departments and the specialized research units of the University of Oulu create the foundation for multiscientific research, innovation and training of experts for demanding professional tasks. The research areas of strength include four focus areas which are Biosciences and health, Information technology ,Cultural identity and interaction, Environment, natural resources and materials.

Tuition Fee:

University of Oulu does not charge tuition fees from international degree students starting their studies in the Autumn Semester 2015.
